PPD Global completes solar panels installation at its headquarters

PPD Global, member of Photos Photiades Group, announces it has completed the installation of a new solar panels system at its headquarters in Nicosia. 

This investment implements the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy, outlining its commitment to operating with the utmost respect for the environment.

The new solar energy system has a total installed capacity of 99 kWp and is projected to reduce the company’s annual carbon dioxide emissions by up to 55 tons, an environmental benefit equivalent to planting over 1,400 trees each year. The project is expected to cover over 50% of the office energy needs. It will also decrease the operational costs and set a strong, sustainable example for the industry.

This initiative is part of PPD Global’s ongoing commitment to building a more sustainable future for its employees, partners, and communities.

The company is actively implementing sustainable practices across its operations, from investments in green energy to securing certifications for operational excellence.

PPD Global recently obtained ISO 14001 and Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) certifications for its operations in Cyprus, attesting to its efforts to minimize environmental impact and enhance performance.
